Testosterone Propionate is a commonly manufactured injectable form of the primary male androgen hormone testosterone. The added ester to the testosterone – “propionate” is only responding for slowing down the rate in which the testosterone is released from the injection site (otherwise, without an added ester – the testosterone is going to dissipate too quickly as soon as it would be injected), however it only does so for a few days, compared to other esters which can slow down the release rate much more, up to some weeks.
